End of love

Tiptoed gingerly into her house,
Unknown to her beloved spouse,

Longing arms hugged me in an embrace,
A vile expression dancing on her face.

If looks could kill , they say,
An unmarked grave would be on my way.

She whispered softly into my ears,
Lose all inhibitions and conquer your fears.

We bit into the apple of temptation,
Was too late for a fitting redemption.

A glimpse of how all this started,
Caught in boredom, morose and unwanted.

All’s not fair in life, some things are unjust,
It was the end of love……..,the beginning of lust!!!
